Did you know that they use small helicopters
to dry off cherry trees after it rains?
Most of the pilots live on the hills above the cherry orchards and
park their helicopters in their driveway, ready to go.
It is difficult, dangerous work,
lots of wires and other obstacles.
If you fly too high,
the job doesn’t get done, too low and the cherries are
on the ground.
All the ways we make our way through life.
Someone had to invent the helicopter and how to make it.
Then teach someone to fly it.
and, of course, someone had to figure out
how to grow cherries.
