There are materials in
our daily lives
that can be solid, liquid or vapor.
The one we all know is water.
It can actually go from a solid to a vapor
without becoming a liquid.
Your jeans frozen solid on the clothesline,
then dry.
If we were not so smart,
we could call it a miracle.
Anyway, seems good proof that
certainty and permanence
remain human dreams.
